Briggs Horman

Briggs Horman, PT, the owner and operator of Peak is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Medicine, Programs in Physical Therapy (1990) in Chicago, IL. He did his under graduate degree at the University of Utah in Psychology (1988). He also studied at Dixie College in St. George Utah where he met and married Wendy Stokes, (1985). They are the parents of 5 children.

Briggs started his career at Cottonwood Hospital Spine Institute. He also was the Director of PT, OT, Speech, Cardiac Rehab, and Audiology, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Briggs has been recognized as a leader in Functional Capacity Evaluations and Industrial Medicine. He has been an invited lecturer  with the Idaho Industrial Commission, Annual Workers Compensation Seminar. Briggs also presented at the Idaho State Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Special Interest Group Annual Seminar on Functional Capacity Evaluations, in Sun Valley, ID.

Briggs regularly lectures on topics such as Work Place Ergonomics, Work Place Stress and Kinematics of Job Functions, and Proper Posture and Body Mechanics, Fitness and Wellness and the Aging Musculoskeletal System. He has coached athletes from T-ball to Babe Ruth, and other youth sports teams and has attended several Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society, PBATS/Baseball Team Medicine Conferences with the Baltimore Orioles, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He is a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America and has served both locally and nationally and twice as a Scout Leader for the National Scout Jamboree.

Heidi Duran

Heidi Duran was born in Arvada, CO along with her parents and one brother. Growing up in Colorado, Heidi obtained a love for being outside in Denver’s nice weather nearly year round as well as visiting the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She attended the University of Northern Colorado graduating with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science in 2008. She continued on to the University of St. Augustine for graduate school and graduated with honors with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. After graduating from graduate school, she moved to Pocatello with her husband, then to Boise, and finally continuing to Idaho Falls in which she nows calls home since 2012. She married in the Summer of 2008 and currently has 2 boys. Heidi enjoys tropical vacations, hiking, and playing/coaching volleyball. Heidi loves her job as a Physical Therapist working on vestibular/balance concerns and a variety of orthopedic issues along with a special interest in women’s health including pre and post-natal care.
